University Council
The University Council supports the university management and performs supervisory board functions. For example, it elects the president and the vice-presidents, decides on the basic regulations and the university development planning and determines whether the goals set out in the target agreement have been achieved.
In addition to the elected members of the Senate, the University Council includes ten personalities from science, culture and, in particular, from business and professional practice. The members of the University Management, the Women's Representative of the University of Applied Sciences and a representative of the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts take part in the meetings of the University Council in an advisory capacity.
