Division 1: Personnel
The responsibility of Department 1: Human Resources extends to all human resources for professors, special lecturers, civil servants, employees covered by collective agreements, teaching assistants, trainees, student assistants, tutors and interns.

With the project act@HSWT (academic career and talent management), financed by the BMBF programme FH-Personal, the University of applied sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf aims to attract the best brains - outstanding talents and personalities - for a professorial career. The HR department is in charge of the sub-project "Onboarding and personnel development" and the sub-project "Professionalising appointment procedures".

Division 2: Finances
Division 2 Finance is responsible in particular for the following tasks:
- Preparation of a draft budget
- Implementation of the budget and distribution of funds
- Processing of payment transactions
- Monitoring of contracts
- Budget closing and accounting
- Processing and controlling of externally funded projects in cooperation with the project administrators
- Financial planning and controlling
- Cost and performance accounting
- Separation accounting
- University financial statistics and reporting
- Central procurement and inventories
- University taxation and tax compliance
- Preparation of tax returns and advance tax returns
- Tax assessment of externally funded projects
- Administration in the area of donations and sponsoring
- Staff administration and management
- Personnel statistics
- Accounting for official, educational, training and presentation trips

Department 3: Study
The tasks of the department are the handling of all administrative matters that arise in connection with the students of the University of applied sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf. The department is divided into the divisions
- Campus Management
- Studies / Weihenstephan (divided according to study programmes)
- Admissions
In addition, there is the Student.Service as a central contact point.
In order to send documents to the administration in due time, there is a letterbox directly in front of the Student.Service and a letterbox outside the administration building (main entrance basement), which are emptied daily on weekdays.

Department 5: Administration Triesdorf Campus
The Triesdorf Campus Administration is responsible for handling all administrative matters that arise at the Triesdorf Campus and is thus the contact for prospective students, students, professors and staff alike.
According to the different areas of responsibility, the university administration is divided into the following units:
