Scholarships for Stays Abroad & other Funding Programmes
On the way abroad, the question of money naturally arises for many students. The University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf itself awards scholarships for stays abroad and provides support in the search for other funding programmes.
You can obtain detailed information directly from the individual funding organisations or from the International Office at the University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, which will be happy to advise you in this regard.
Scholarships awarded by the HSWT
Students apply directly to the International Office of the University of applied sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf for the following scholarships and grants.

Erasmus+
The Erasmus+ programme can support study visits to partner universities and internships (between 2 and 12 months).

PROMOS
The "Programme to Increase the Mobility of Students at German Universities" (PROMOS) is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Funding is available for compulsory internships abroad (1 to 6 months); study and research stays as well as theses abroad (1 to 6 months)

Internationalisation of Universities
The programme of the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts supports students who complete a recognised stay abroad. Funding is available for compulsory internships, study visits and final theses.
Scholarships from other organisations that make your stay abroad possible
The following scholarships and grants are not awarded directly by HSWT. The application must be submitted directly to the respective organisation. However, the International Office will be happy to advise you on the programmes and assist you with the application.

Federal Education and Training Assistance Act abroad
... can be applied for by students with permanent residence in the Federal Republic of Germany for a subject-oriented study visit abroad (study and internship). Learn more!

... are awarded for studies at a recognised university of applied sciences abroad and are generally valid for the duration of one academic year. Learn more!
