Start a business in the food sector - we show you how it's done!
With your own start-up idea to found a company: The experts in the field of food support start-up teams and individuals with their ideas. The certificate course is aimed at people who want to bring an innovative food idea to market maturity.
At the end of the 12-month certificate course, participants not only receive a university certificate, but also take away many practical tips, advice from experienced food experts and their own insights. If they do not start their own business at the end of the course, participants have the chance to receive an EXIST grant of up to 140,000 euros.
From the idea to the business: founding a food start-up made easy
The vision is there, we teach the rest. These contents await food start-up founders in the certificate course:
- Production: basics of product development & food production
- Distribution: Basics of marketing & sales
- Administration: financial planning, funding opportunities & setting up a business
Requirements & Application for the Food Enterprise Certificate Course
Do something quickly: That's why we make it as easy as possible to apply for the certificate course. Proof of a higher education entrance qualification (University Entrance Qualification, master craftsman examination with work experience or equivalent qualification) is sufficient.
Short explanations of the food start-up idea must then be submitted in the application portal:
- Personal details, including a short CV
- Start-up idea in a few sentences
- List of Unique Selling Points
- Description of the target group
Registration on the application portal is free of charge. After registering on the portal, interested parties will be informed about deadlines and dates for current course starts.
Costs for the course "Founding a Food Start-up
The course fee per participant is 6,000 euros. Applicants can also apply for a partial scholarship that covers 50 percent of the course costs. This financial support is intended in particular to promote the food start-up ideas of mothers interested in founding their own businesses.
