The Weihenstephan campus is located in the Freising district of the same name. The city of Freising is approx. 35 km north of Munich and is good to reach by car, train (S1) and plane (close to Munich Airport).

By car
A9 exit Allershausen and A92 exits Freising Süd and Freising Mitte. Please note that parking at the campus is very limited.

By train
Freising station can be reached via the Munich-Regensburg and Munich-Passau railway lines and from Munich with the S-Bahn S1.
Travel information from Deutsche Bahn
There are two large covered bicycle parking areas at Freising station. There is also a repair station at one of the two bicycle parking areas.

By bus
Bus lines 638 (every 12 minutes, journey time 8 minutes, stops "Am Staudengarten" and "Weihenstephan") and 639 (every 30 minutes, journey time 6 minutes, stops "Am Staudengarten", "Weihenstephaner Berg", "Weihenstephan" and "Forstzentrum") run from Freising train station to the Weihenstephan campus. In addition, there are additional buses between the station and the campus in the mornings.
The campus can also be reached from all other parts of the Freising city area with a single change at Freising station or in the city centre (stop "Obere Hauptstraße")

With the bike
The buildings on Weihenstephaner Berg (A1 - A10) as well as the buildings on the Weihenstephan campus (C4 - C6, F9, H6 - H14) can be reached by bike in about 10 minutes.

It takes a good 20 minutes to walk from Freising station to the buildings on Weihenstephaner Berg (A1 - A10), as well as to the buildings on the Weihenstephan campus (C4 - C6, F9, H6 - H14).

The buildings are open to the public without a key or card on weekdays. Staff members also have access outside these hours with a key or card. Students must leave the building after 22:00 (evacuation by the locking service). For events after 10 p.m., the supervisor is responsible for leaving the building in an orderly manner and locking it. Outside opening hours, the heating and ventilation will be lowered. The buildings are not heated and locked on weekends and public holidays. - 22:00 - 24:00
From 22:00 - 24:00 access is available for students with student ID. The IT rooms in the building can also be accessed with a student ID. The locking service also carries out patrols at night. - closed
The building is not heated and cleaned. Access for staff is possible with a key or service ID. During events, the supervisor is responsible for leaving the building in an orderly manner and for locking it.

Via A6 onto B13 (between Ansbach and Merkendorf) and turn off at the signpost "Landwirtschaftliches Bildungszentrum Triesdorf".

Bus line 736 (journey time 21 minutes, stop "Triesdorf/Weidenbach Markgrafenstr.") runs from Triesdorf station to the campus.
