We are one of the leading national and international universities of applied sciences and green engineering. Excellent teaching with a strong practical orientation and applied research form the core of our self-image.

No other University of Applied Sciences in Germany has a comparable range of subjects as consistently focused on green engineering. In the seven departments at our two campuses, we cover ecological, technical and economic topics in 19 Bachelor's and 13 Master's degree programmes. At both Weihenstephan and Triesdorf campuses, we offer our students extensive, practice-oriented expertise in teaching and research in these subject areas:

Our recipe for success is an education with direct practical relevance and a sound scientific basis. We prepare our students for a direct career entry. That's why we also offer 14 dual study programmes where part of the training takes place in a company. Whether in the classic or dual model: all our students benefit from the networking of the University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf with institutions, associations, industry and business.

We make our students fit for the global professional world through: Stays abroad, a degree programme with an international double degree, lived cooperations with more than 140 educational institutions worldwide.

As an entrepreneurial University of Applied Sciences, we also promote a culture of innovation and a spirit of entrepreneurship. Numerous start-ups have already emerged from student projects.
