In this session we discuss aspects of climate change.
In this lecture the following aspects will be presented and discussed:
- Impact of vegetation (esp. forests) on the global carbon balance
- Impact of global deforestation and potentials for afforestation
- Adaptation of existing forests towards climate change
- Climate impact of wood products and bioenergy
This event is part of HSWT's contributions to the Public Climate School, the open climate university. The wide range of activities on the topic of climate are free of charge and open to anyone interested – whether school pupils, prospective students, city residents, university students, employees, experts or practitioners: everyone is welcome.
