What requirements must be met for admission to a degree programme?
To be admitted to the Master's degree programme in Applied Agricultural Sciences, you must have completed your Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agricultural sciences, agricultural engineering or related disciplines with above-average grades. This means that you have completed your Bachelor's degree programme with an overall examination grade of at least 2.59 or among the top 50 %. If you have completed your Bachelor's degree programme with an overall grade of between 2.60 and 2.99, you can provide evidence of the necessary skills by submitting a letter of motivation.
If you have completed a degree programme with fewer than 210 EC (but at least 180 EC), you can make up the missing credits in individually selected modules after starting your studies or complete an internship semester to deepen your practical experience.

How long does it take to study Applied Agricultural Sciences?
The full-time Master's degree programme in Applied Agricultural Sciences takes three semesters. You can also complete the programme part-time , in which case the course lasts six semesters. This allows you to flexibly adapt the programme to your personal life situation. You can start the programme in both the winter and summer semesters.

What if the certificate for admission is not yet available?
You can already start the Master's degree programme even if you do not yet meet the admission requirements, for example because your certificate is not yet available. However, you must then provide proof that you fulfil the admission requirements by the end of the first semester at the latest. In this case, submit a certificate with your application stating that you will fulfil the admission requirements during the specified period.

The application period for the summer semester starts at the beginning of December and ends on 15 January. For the winter semester , it starts at the beginning of May and ends on 15 July.
