„The “Deutschlandstipendium„ enables me to no longer have to work so much besides my studies and is a great motivational boost. I found out about this opportunity on the homepage of the University of Applied Sciences and am now being supported in my second year. I'm very glad that I already did an apprenticeship as a landscape gardener before my studies and then worked for three quarters of a year, because that way I know exactly what the theoretical lectures are about in practice. After my practical semester, which I will complete in a large gardening and landscaping company in Kiel, I would like to work in a similar company in Freising until the end of my studies. In my free time I go hiking or bouldering in the mountains, I'll miss that in Kiel, but there's the sea there instead.“
