"You could give it a try," thought Adrian Fortunato and applied for the "Deutschlandstipendium" with his good grades. "I am now happy about this recognition. Actually, I studied to be a teacher of history and chemistry in my hometown of Hamburg and completed the first state examination. On the side, I worked in a brewery and realised that I was passionate about it. That's why I'm now studying dual studies at Weihenstephan and working at a brewery in Bremen. I was able to give my fellow students good support in the subject of chemistry. Besides my studies, I'm involved in animal welfare, as a youth worker in the football club and in church."
