Our study information days give you an overview of our diverse Bachelor's and Master's programmes - from environmental and agricultural sciences, food and nutrition to landscape architecture - with a varied programme and plenty of opportunities for mutual exchange.
Registration is not required.

When are the study information days?
What can you expect?
Comprehensive information and answers to all questions about studying at our university: Which degree programmes does HSWT offer? What does the degree programme look like? What financing options are available? What career prospects do I have after graduation? We also offer you a varied programme:
- Lectures & interactive workshops: be inspired and discover exciting topics from our study programmes.
- Laboratory and campus tours: Take a look behind the scenes: Discover our labs, workshops and the campus.
- Personal counselling sessions with students & lecturers : Find out first-hand what studying with us is like and ask your questions directly to our experts.
- Taster lectures: Try out studying and experience teaching at the university up close.
- Wide range of counselling & services: Ask your questions about studying, housing, financing, studying abroad and leisure & life at the central information stands of the International Office, Language Centre, Student Advisory Service, Alumni Management, Green Office, Employment Agency and Munich Student Union.

Do I have to register for the study information day?
You do not need to register for the HSWT Open Day. You can simply come along and visit the programme items relevant to you.

Will the information lectures be broadcast online?
The info talks will not be broadcast online. If you are unable to attend the study information days, you can find out more about your desired degree programme at our regular online StudyInfoTalks. Or you can contact our study programme advisors.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
You will receive a certificate of attendance for your school or employer at the stand of the General Student Counselling Service (D1 building, ground floor).

Are photos and films taken at the open day?
The event will be filmed and photographed. This material will be used for HSWT's public relations work (websites, social media channels). The HSWT's data protection conditions apply.

I am a teacher at a school. Can I visit the open day with my school class?
Of course, whole school classes can also come to the study information day.

Where can I get something to eat and drink?
At the Weihenstephan campus, the Munich Student Union provides us with drinks and cold food (e.g. pretzels, sandwiches) in the D1 building. Only cash payment is possible.
At the Triesdorf campus, the students of the Nutrition & Food Sciences degree programme will provide refreshments. Cash payment only is also possible.
