What tasks do study programme ambassadors take on?
Our degree programme ambassadors take on a variety of tasks with the aim of informing and advising prospective or new students and making it easier for them to start their studies:
- Presenting the degree programme at school visits, trade fairs, study information days or at digital events, e.g. online StudyInfoTalk
- Contact person for pupils and interested parties by email and at events and answering questions about everyday study life, course content, practical semester, etc.
- First-hand accounts: What is studying really like? What are the challenges and what opportunities should you take advantage of?
- Accompanying first semester events and organising campus tours
- Contributing to social media content, e.g. degree programme week
Why become a degree programme ambassador?
As a degree programme ambassador, you represent your degree programme at the University of applied sciences, at schools and online. You are the contact person for prospective students, share your experiences and help to convey a realistic picture of the degree programme.
- Development of soft skills (e.g. communication, presentation, counselling)
