Supplies of fossil fuels are limited and their use contributes to the global rise in CO2. The switch to renewable energies is not just inevitable for modern industrial society; it is a matter of survival. The importance of renewable energies (the sun, wind, water, geothermal energy, and energy from biomass) is now beyond dispute both politically and economically.
With this degree programme in the technology of renewable energies, Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences seeks to meet the growing demand for suitably qualified engineers in the industry.
This degree programme will no longer be offered from winter semester 2020/21.
