The first students on this new master's degree programme in energy management and technology enrolled in the summer semester 2010. This is a joint master's degree programme of the Universities of Applied Sciences of Ansbach, Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, and Georg-Simon-Ohm.

The degree programme is mostly run at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences, and partially at Georg-Simon-Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg and at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences in Triesdorf.

Admission requirements

  • The admission requirement is a minimum final grade of 2.5 on the German grading scale (or the equivalent).
  • Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree programme in energy and environmental system engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, engineering and management, physical engineering, or mathematics and science degree programmes.
