Rebuilding Growth in Precision Agriculture in Post-Conflict Ukraine & Transitioning Georgia (ReGrow)

ReGrow aims to modernize and internationalize higher education in Georgia and Ukraine by creating a new joint Master of Science course in Precision Agriculture. This initiative integrates a cutting-edge curriculum focused on sustainable practices, advanced technologies, and digital transformation to improve the quality, relevance, and accessibility of higher education. Targeting HEI staff, students, and agricultural professionals, the project aims to equip them with the necessary competencies and skills to lead and innovate in sustainable agricultural practices. Ultimately, ReGROW supports socio-economic development, environmental sustainability, and the digital transformation of the agriculture sector, fostering regional integration and cooperation in line with EU priorities such as the Green Deal.

To ensure effective implementation across target country HEIs, a Development of the ReGROW MSc Curriculum Framework will be developed based on thorough research. This framework will address current trends, societal skills demands, best practices, and identify any existing gaps. During curriculum development, core and specialized courses will be created and validated by national bodies to maintain standards. Throughout the piloting phase, attention will be given to extracting relevant data, particularly on connectivity challenges faced by remote HEIs and students in remote areas.

ReGrow also aims to train staff and trainers in the agricultural sector to meet both labor market demands and learner requirements, align essential skills with job opportunities, and foster the development of innovative skills. Deans of HEIs, education consultants, policy makers, and related staff may benefit from the project results. Thus, ReGrow will undertake a transformative initiative to address the challenges in agricultural sector, engaging national actors and stakeholders to highlight the diverse needs of HEIs in Ukraine and Georgia at both national and institutional levels.
