Startup Talk Food & Drinks in Weihenstephan
On 29 April, a Startup Talk „Food & Drinks“ took place in the co-working area of the FSIWS on the Weihenstephan campus.
The event was hosted by the SUN - Startup, Entrepreneurship and Succession Centre. The evening focussed on the financial and legal affairs that need to be taken into account when founding a start-up.
Dr Veronika Hannus, Head of SUN, welcomed Gerd Funk from TH Darmstadt, who once founded the startup Print4Taste GmbH and is part-time lecturers at HSWT, as well as Dr Leonid Guggenberger and Andreas Kühnert from the law firm POELLATH. Around 20 listeners with a wide range of start-up experience attended the evening.
The talk focussed, for example, on raising capital before the start-up and during the growth phase („venture capital“) as well as choosing the right legal form. Questions about intellectual property and the involvement of business angels were also discussed. By answering many questions from the audience, a lively discussion ensued. Finger food and drinks afterwards gave those present the opportunity to discuss some of the topics raised in greater depth.
The next SUN Startup Talk will take place on 20 May on the topic of „Startups in the renewable energy sector“.
