HSWT in DAAD image video for the 5th anniversary of HAW.International
Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences is part of the official anniversary video of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for the fifth anniversary of the HAW.International funding programme.
The programme has been supporting the internationalisation of Universities of Applied Sciences since 2019 and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
HSWT has been participating in the HAW.International programme since 2022 with the aim of expanding its international study and training opportunities in a targeted manner. The video also features two project partners: South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) and Khon Kaen University.

This collaboration is one of several components of the HSWT project. Together with Khon Kaen University (Thailand) and SEKU, an English-language further education programme for founders in the agricultural and food sector is being created.
In November 2024, HSWT also took part in the official programme conference in Karlsruhe. Under the motto „Five years of HAW.International: Milestones and future paths of internationalisation“, the exchange and networking between the participating universities and other stakeholders involved was strengthened.

With its involvement in HAW.International, HSWT not only contributes to the internationalisation of the university landscape, but also actively supports the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the field of applied life sciences.
