Prof. Dr Swantje Duthweiler, chief scientist of the Weihenstephan Gardens, gives a guided tour of the trial garden.

Every first Sunday of the month, the Weihenstephan Gardens host public guided tours of the trial garden. Visitors gain fascinating insights into the diversity of the plant world, as well as the unique design and maintenance of these historic gardens.
The trial garden showcases a wide selection of perennials, woody plants and seasonal plantings, and is regarded as a significant centre for garden culture and the use of plants. The tours provide interesting facts about botanical features, current flowering conditions and the historical background of the grounds.
A varied programme for garden lovers, nature enthusiasts and anyone wishing to discover the beauty of the Weihenstephan Gardens.

Participation is free of charge and no booking is required (no groups). Donations are warmly welcome.
