Generative AI in research
Current studies show that generative artificial intelligence (genAI) has arrived in the everyday research of many scientists. Nevertheless, there is still uncertainty as to how genKI can be used in compliance with the GWP and which uses are generally permitted.
In this session, Katrin Frisch (OWID; Dialogue Forums) will provide an insight into the existing landscape of guidelines on the topic of genKI and GWP.
The focus will be on the following questions:
- How can the use of genKI be disclosed transparently and appropriately in publications?
- What should be considered when using generative AI?
- What is currently considered good research practice with regard to gene AI, especially in peer reviews and the use of AI-generated images?
