The HSWT informs interested parties with lectures, guided tours and an information stand on topics relating to leisure horticulture.
On Mother's Day weekend, the Freising-Weihenstephan Garden Days will take place for the second time on the grounds of the TUM School of Life Sciences. The public can expect plant specialities from numerous nurseries, stands with garden accessories and an extensive accompanying programme. The Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT) will be taking part with various activities:
- Information stand on sustainable gardening
- Lectures (e.g. vole control, peat-free success or green roofs)
- Guided tours of the Weihenstephan gardens, the orchard educational and adventure trail and the demonstration plant with peat-reduced and peat-free substrates
- Plant protection advice
- Presentation of the HSWT degree programmes
