The introductory event for first-semester students on the Horticulture - Production, Trade, Services degree programme will take place on 1 October 2025 from 10 am.

Pre-course in basic maths
For first-year students on the Horticulture - Production, Trade, Services degree programme, a preliminary course in basic mathematics will take place on 27 September 2025 (Saturday, 1 - 5 pm) and 28 September 2025 (Sunday, 9 am - 5 pm) (Room C4.264, Building C4, Weihenstephaner Berg 5 85354 Freising).
In the course, the basic knowledge required for the module „Bio- and Business Mathematics“ will be presented and practised in group work. The course is based on large-format knowledge cards on algebra and analysis. The knowledge cards show the basic knowledge and the inner connections of the individual sub-areas. Experience has shown that there is little time in the lectures to go into the basics covered at school. Participation in the course is recommended as a free offer from the University of applied sciences for all first-year students who do not feel comfortable with the school maths material.
