The cycle tour follows the course of the Isar and stops at various project sites, where participants will gain an insight into the ‘A-Dur’ research topic.
On the group cycle ride from Freising to Moosburg, those interested in floodplain forests will learn fascinating facts about the project ‘Revitalised Floodplain Forests – Dynamics and Resilience in the Spirit of Multifunctionality’ (A-DUR). The following topics will be covered at the various stops: Gappnigg, forest climate, citizen science, forest structure, the natural forest development concept and participatory processes, regeneration, ash dieback, morphodynamics, hydropower and softwood floodplain forests.
Please bring:
- Bicycle
- Water bottle and packed lunch
- weatherproof clothing and mosquito/tick repellent
