The Allotment Garden (Kleingarten)

In the allotment garden (Kleingarten), you can find out all about the cultivation of well-known and rare vegetables and herbs currently being grown in a range of tried-and tested and new varieties. From classic vegetables and raised beds through to horizontally constructed container systems with a diverse range of plants, which can even be found on small balconies and terraces: here you will find everything that makes the cultivation of crop plants fascinating and exciting. Experience urban gardening in the allotment garden. The fruit display garden will convince you that fruit has a place in even the smallest garden, if you choose a suitable variety of fruit and the right type of tree, bush or vine. What you can expect:

  • information on the selection of varieties, crop rotation and fertilisation
  • mixed crops on various types of raised beds
  • cultivation of vegetables and ornamental plants in a limited space
  • wide range of greenhouses containing seasonal plants
  • numerous spices and medicinal herbs.

Visiting the gardens is free of charge. Dogs are not allowed in all the Allotment Garden!
